Spring is the period when most start to lose weight and exercise to get in shape for the summer, and dieting is very much influenced by compulsory physical activity.

Here’s what spring foods should be part of your diet if you want to ease the weight loss process:

1) Radishes
The red color of radishes is due to anthocyanins, phytochemicals that reduce the risk of diabetes and burn fat, reduce cholesterol and insulin resistance, as well as inflammation.
2) Asparagus
Asparagus is one of the first vegetables to appear in the markets in April and May and is rich in calcium, copper, folate and iron along with vitamins A, C, E, K, and B6. It is also rich in fibers that keep the body healthy for a long time, and one cup contains 3 grams of protein and only 27 calories.
3) Apricots
The apricot season is from late April to mid July, and they are rich in potassium and vitamins A and C that promote good eyesight, strong immune systems and robust reproductive health.
4) Peas
One cup of peas contains 9 grams of protein and is rich in fiber, vitamins A, B6, C and K, folates, riboflavin, thiamine, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, manganese and iron.
